Size Guide
When sizing Birkenstock sandals, it’s important to consider both length and width for a comfortable fit. Start by measuring your foot length from heel to toe, then compare it to the Birkenstock size chart provided to select the right size. Birkenstock sandals are known to run occasionally slightly larger, so you may need to size down if you’re between sizes.
In terms of width, Birkenstock offers two fit options: narrow and regular. Narrow fit is designed for those with slimmer feet, while the regular fit suits average to wider feet. To determine which width is best for you, use the size guide below or our main size chart. If you already own a pair of Birkenstocks and are unsure what your current pair are, look at the footbed icon inside the sandal. A solid footprint indicates a regular fit, while an outlined footprint represents a narrow fit. It's essential that your foot fits comfortably within the contours of the footbed, with no part of your foot hanging over the edges. This ensures optimal support and comfort.
